"New Beginnings", Spring Visual Arts Exhibition, Colebrook, NH
The Connecticut River Artist Group will present "New Beginnings", a group exhibition of
area artists. The exhibition will be on display at the Interpretive Center, in Colebrook, NH
through the month of April. FREE and open to the public.

NHPleinAir Artists, present "Suspended In Time" at the Pantano Gallery
Southern NH University, 2500 N. River Rd., Manchester, NH
Members of the NHPleinAir Artists are exhibiting a collection of "en plein aire" paintings, at the Pantano Gallery, located in the Shapiro Library, at Southern New Hampshire University.
The exhibit features the work of visual artists Sharon E. Allen, Pat Dowey, Belle Choate, Brenda Kenney, and Aline Lotter. All paintings in the exhibit were completed on location and are available for purchase. FREE and open to the public.

September 22, 2007:
38th Annual Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce Art Exhibition
Brenda exhibited her work at the 38th Annual Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce Art Exhibition, held in Littleton, NH. From the dozens of artists and artisans exhibiting at the
event, the judges awarded a First, Second, & Third Place Award, as well as three Honorable Mentions, in three different categories. Of the over 25 oil and watercolor artists, Brenda's painting titled "Serenity" won an Honorable Mention, placing as one of the top six entries in the painting category.

August 18th, 2007:
Brenda was awarded First Place in the 1st Annual Annual Pittsburg Old Home Day People's Choice Art Show, for her painting titled "Serenity". Approx. 300 people voted at the event, casting their vote for their favorite art piece, in 4 different categories.

Brenda was awarded Third Place for her painting titled "Mommy's Helpers" in the oil painting category, at the Annual Cultural Arts Exhibition and Competition, sponsered by the NH State Chapter of American Mothers, Inc. The event was held at the Public Library in Bedford, N.H. during November, 2006.

**NEWS**
Brenda received an Honorable Mention in the painting division at the 6th Annual Fall Festival of the Arts Peoples Art Show, in Lisbon, held Sept. 30th, 2006. Her painting "Spring Hearth" was recognized as one of five paintings receiving awards among dozens of entries in that category. Awards were based on votes submitted by the visitors to the show.

Brenda received First Place at the Ammonoosuc Region Arts Council's Annual "People's Choice Art Show" for her painting entitled "Red Zinnia", in the oil painting division. She also received Third Place for her painting entitled "Hard Day". Awards were given in five different categories, and were determined by votes submitted by the people visiting the show. Artist of the Month, at UCVH in Colebrook, NH
Brenda was the featured artist of the month at the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital, in Colebrook.
October 6, 2007:
Ammonoosuc Region Arts Council 7th Annual Fall Festival of the Arts
This event featured regional artists and artisans, entertainment, demonstrations, and interactive activities for all ages. Other activities included a pie contest, chili/chowder cook-off, quilt show, people's art show, dance troupe, poetry contest, magic show, musical performances, and face painting. One of Brenda's paintings, "Serenity", was awarded Second Place in the People's Choice Art Show, in the painting category.
October 1, 2007 through Nov. 30th, 2007:
Connecticut River Artist Group Sponsored Art Exhibition
The Connecticut River Artist Group presented "Autumn Splendor", a group exhibition of
area artists. The exhibition was on display at the Interpretive Center, in Colebrook.
September 29, 2007:
23rd Annual Plymouth Fall Art Show
Brenda was one of dozens of area artists who exhibited their work at the Plymouth Area Art Exhibition, in Plymouth, NH, sponsored by the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce.
September 22, 2007:
38th Annual Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce Art Exhibition
Brenda exhibited her work at the annual Art Exhibition in Littleton, NH.
She was awarded an honorable mention for her painting titled "Serenity" in the Painting
Category, and received a complementary pass to next year's event.
September 7th, 8th, & 9th, 2007:
International Plein Air Painters World-Wide Paint Out, in Concord, NH
Brenda was one of 22 NH Plein Air Artists participating in this world wide event.
Artists gathered to paint at three locations in the Concord, NH area, over the week-end. On Friday, Sept. 7th, they painted on location at the Contoocook Village Dam, in Contoocook, NH. On Saturday, they painted at the Dimond Hill Farm, in West Concord, NH. A reception and wet paint sale was held on Sunday at the Mill Brook Gallery & Sculpture Garden, in Concord, NH.
August 24th, 2007:
Brenda displayed her work at the Annual Moose Festival, held in Colebrook, NH.
August 18th, 2007:
Brenda was one of several artists exhibiting their work at the First Annual Pittsburg

July 30th through August 22nd, 2007:
Hans Klunder and Brenda Kenney exhibited their recent work in a two person show, at the Interpretive Center, in Colebrook, NH.
July 26th through July 29th, 2007:
Brenda was one of several New England artists participating in the 1st Summer Pleinair Paintout and Art in the Park Exhibition, sponsored by the Connecticut River Artists Group. Artists painted "en plein air" at various locations throughout the Connecticut Lakes Region and northern Connecticut River Valley, on Friday and Saturday. Their completed work was displayed at an Art in the Park Exhibition on Sunday, in Canaan, VT.
July 7th, 2007:
Brenda exhibited at the Bethel Chamber of Commerce Annual Art Show, Bethel, ME. The event included the work of dozens of area artists and artisans, live entertainment, and an atmosphere of quaint New England heritage.

Group Exhibit at the Interpretive Center, Colebrook NH
The Connecticut River Art Group sponsered a group exhibit of six of it's members at the Interpretive Center, in Colebrook, NH. Artist exhibiting are Judi Calhoun, Cindy Elkins, Brenda Kenney, Patricia Klinefelter, Rita Lee, and Deborah Sargent.
NOVEMBER, 2006: Brenda was one of seventeen NH artists exhibiting work at the Annual Cultural Arts Exhibition and Competition, sponsered by the NH State Chapter of American Mothers, Inc. The event included Art, Literature, and Music entries, and was open to all qualifying NH mothers. The visual arts exhibition was held at the Bedford Public Library, and concluded on Nov. 27th, with an artist reception and awards ceremony. Brenda was awarded Third Place for her painting titled "Mommy's Helpers" in the oil painting category.
NOVEMBER 17 to DECEMBER 16, 2006: Three of Brenda's original paintings were on display at the "My Favorite Things" Exhibition and sale, held at the New London Inn, on Main Str., in New London, NH. The exhibition was sponsered by the Artisan's Workshop, 195 Main Str., New London.
NOVEMBER, 2006: Brenda's painting "Anticipating Grandma's Pie" was the featured
art work of the month, printed on postcards distributed by Prudential Verani Realty, in
Londonderry, NH. The card is sent to approx. 20,000 households in southern and central NH, and the image of the painting is displayed on the Realty website. Please visit http://www.verani.com/local.artists.aspx to view the work of several other featured NH artists.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2006: Brenda displayed three paintings at the Ammonoosuc Region Fall Festival of the Arts "People's Choice" Art Show. Her painting "Spring Hearth" was recognized as one of five paintings receiving awards among dozens of entries in the painting category.
SEPTEMBER 23, 2006: Brenda participated in the 37th Annual Littleton Chamber of Commerce Art Show, in Littleton, NH. Fine Art and Photography were displayed by dozens of artists from throughout New England.
AUGUST 25, 2006: Brenda displayed some of her paintings, prints, and notecards, at the annual Moose Festival Art Exhibit, held on Main Street in Colebrook, NH.
AUGUST 19, 2006: Brenda displayed some of her paintings, prints, and notecards at the Old Home Day celebration in Pittsburg, NH. The celebration also included the Old Home Day parade, live entertainment, and more!
JUNE 21st Through JULY 24th 2006: Brenda exhibited some of her paintings, prints, and notecards at the Interpretive Center, located in the rear of the rest area building, just north of Colebrook, NH. The Interpretive Center also features historical items, and other items of interest relative to the surrounding area.
JULY 4, 2006: Brenda displayed some of her paintings, prints, and notecards in Pittsburg, NH, at the town's Fourth of July celebration. The event is held at the Murphy Dam, and includes several activities for the whole family.....including fireworks!
MAY 27, 2006: Brenda was one of the artists exhibiting at The Ammonoosuc Region Arts Council's Annual “People's Art Show”, which took place during the Lisbon Lilac Time Festival on Saturday, May 27, 2006. Over 90 pieces were exhibited by approx. 30 artists from NH and Vermont. "People's Choice" awards were awarded in five categories, including Oil Painting, Visual Art other than Oils, Photography, Three-Dimensional, and Student Art. Brenda's original painting "Red Zinnia" received First Place, and her painting "Hard Day" received Third Place, in the oil painting division.
SEPTEMBER 24, 2005: Brenda displayed her recent work, at the Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce 36th Annual Littleton Art Show, in Littleton, NH. The weather was beautiful! A great day for a show!
AUGUST 26, 2005: Brenda displayed some of her recent work, and demonstrated her technique, at the annual Moose Festival Art Exhibit, in Colebrook, NH.
**NEWS** The Ammonoosuc Artists Gallery held an opening reception on August 13, 2005, and the event was a great success! Several items were sold from the gallery, including one of Brenda's original paintings entited "Morning Mist". Be sure to check this events page often, for future gallery events.
JULY 3, 2005: The newly established Ammonoosuc Artists Gallery opened for business. Brenda is one of several artists represented at the gallery. Items exhibited include original paintings, prints, photography, stained glass, and handmade wood toys. The gallery is located at the Tannery Market Place, 111 Saranac Str., Littleton, NH, and is open seven days a week, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
